DR-Raymond
Raymond is a bold display serif named after my grandfather ‘Earnest Raymond Reed’. I wanted to create a beautifully considered typeface that could be used on projects that requires a serious tone. I researched my grandfather’s war history and used his story to test and display the typeface and create a printed specimen that could be shared with friends, family and anyone who would be interested in his WWII experience.
The typeface itself is intended to be used at large scale across headers and titles where you can show off the exaggerated serifs and sharp edges, the kerning has been tracked in extremely tightly so you don’t have to make manual adjustments at these sizes.
PLEASE NOTE – Raymond is in re-development so is only currently in support of English basic typesetting!
